One of the wonderful things about being involved with the arts is that certain core concepts are transferable from discipline to discipline.

Form. Balance. Contrast. Composition. Timing.

When I started photography, I quickly was able to relate photographic concepts to the musical ones I already knew, and that has been a key component to my growth.

Much like music, I’m still learning about photography. An expensive camera and lens does not a good photographer make.

My hope for this website is that it serves as documentation of my journey of learning and discovery in this exciting new-to-me medium.

And hopefully in the process, I bring a little bit of happiness and peace to you through my photographic adventures.
